2. Theme of the essay

"The mountains and rivers are different, the wind and the moon are the same sky" In 2020, we have witnessed the raging epidemic and disasters. At the beginning of the new year in 2021, human beings are facing new challenges. Please write down the most beautiful people, events and sentiments in 2020?

"Lands apart, Sky shared" In 2020, we have witnessed the widespread of the Covid-19 pandemic. At the beginning of the 2021 New Year, mankind is facing new challenges. Please write down your good memories in 2020, it would be a person, things or feelings?

3. Rewards

​

1) First prize: USD 500; Second prize: USD 300; Third prize: USD 100; Excellence prize: no bonus;

 2) All winners will be awarded certificates by the US-China Artists Association;

3) Excellent judges, participating individuals, participating schools or groups, etc., will be awarded certificates by the US-China Artists Association;

4) Excellent entries will be published in mainstream American and Chinese literary publications;

3. Rewards

1) First prizes: 500 US dollars; Second prizes: 300 US dollars; Third prizes: 100 US dollars; Excellence awards: no monetary rewards;

2) All winners will be awarded certificates by the US-China Artists Association;

3) Outstanding judges, participating individuals, participating schools or groups, etc., will be awarded certificates by the US-China Artists Association;

4) Outstanding entries will be published in mainstream US-Chinese literature;

4. Schedule time 

​

1) Please submit the participating school information (according to the participating school information form (Form 1)) before February 28, 2021. After sending the form, the organizer will send the competition number to the participating schools before March 5. Participating schools should not submit the competition works before they get the competition number

2) From January 30, 2021 to March 15, 2021 school preliminary review; the school will submit the preliminary review manuscript with preliminary review comments (Form 2) to the competition organizing committee.

3) March 16, 2021-April 15, 2021 Jury re-examination: The jury will select first, second and third prizes and alternative manuscripts for the Excellence Award from all manuscripts that have passed the preliminary review.

4) From April 16, 2021 to May 15, 2021, the final review by the judges: the judges will determine the award by scoring separately and discussing together;

5) Announcement of the results and awards ceremony on June 1, 2021

4. Competition Schedule

1) Please submit the list of participating schools (according to the Participating School Information Form (Form 1)) before 2/28/2021. After submitting the organizer will send the competition number to participating schools before March 5th. Participating schools m ust not submit their entries before they have received the competition number

2)  1/30/2021-3/15/2021 School preliminary review; The school will submit the preliminary review manuscript with preliminary review comments to the competition organizing committee (Form 2).

3) 3/16/2021-4/15/2021 review by the judges: The jury will select the first, second, third prizes, and the outstanding candidates for all the manuscripts that have passed the preliminary review.

4) 4/16/2021-5/15/2021 final review by the judges: the jury decides the attribution of the awards through separate scoring and unified discussion.

3). Participation is based on schools and individual entries are not accepted. If you have such a need, please contact your school to submit your works for the competition.

6. How to participate

2) This year's competition will be held on a school-by-school basis. After the school conducts an internal preliminary review of the entries, the participating schools will submit their entries.

3) The school fills in the "Preliminary Review Recommendation List" (Form 2) and "Organization Participation Summary Report" (Form 3) (download from the data download area on the official website of the competition). The above list and report are necessary conditions for participating in the organization award.

4) Each school can push up to 3 entries, and each student can provide a maximum of 1 entry;

2) This competition is conducted via schools and the schools will conduct the internal preliminary review and selection; the participating schools will submit the work.

3) The schools submit the "Recommendation List for the Preliminary Review" (Form 2) and the "Summary Report of the Organizing Entry" (Form 3) (downloadable in the data download area of ​_d04a07d 8- 9cd1-3239-9149-20813d6c673b_the official website of the competition). The above list and report are necessary for participating in the award.

4) Every school can submit a maximum of 3 projects, and every student provides a maximum of 1 project.

7. entry requirements

1)  300-500 words, submitted in Word format, text number 12, plain text expression, no pictures, audio, video and other content are allowed.

2) The submission of works shall be submitted in accordance with the format and requirements of the manuscript paper, (download from the data download area on the official website of the competition (Form 4))

3) Participating schools and teachers are invited to assist students to complete independently and express their aspirations in their language. Teachers can guide them, but it is not recommended to change the manuscript.

4) The sponsor has the right to publish and publicize the information of participating units, participating individuals and entries;

5) Contest manuscripts will not be returned, please keep the manuscript;

6) Participating language: Chinese or English

7. Requirements of the competition

3) Participating schools and teachers can assist the students during their creative process. Use their language to express their aspirations. Teachers can guide, but it is not recommended to change the manuscript.

4) The organizer has the right to publish information about participating organizations, individuals, and their projects.

5) All submitted copies will not be returned, please keep your own manuscripts.

4). Manuscripts that do not use the "Special Manuscript Paper for Participation" (Form 4), fail to fill in the "Preliminary Review Recommendation List" (Form 2), and the "Organization Participation Summary Report" (Form 3) will not be eligible for evaluation.

5). The final interpretation right of all matters of the competition belongs to the organizing committee of the competition.
